Mr. Vaughan retired from the Peel Police Service after a twenty-six career having gained experience at all levels of policing including Criminal Investigations, Tactical and Rescue, Intelligence Services, Dignitary Protection to name but a few. Lloyd completed his Policing career with a ten-year secondment to the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit specializing in International Organized Crime investigations. During this time, he travelled across Canada, United States and Europe managing complex O.C. cases. He also wrote Mutual Liaison Assistance Treaty’s (MLAT) with foreign Policing Services and was recognized by the Direzione Investigativa Antimafia (D.I.A.) in Rome & Torino Italy for investigative services.

Mr. Vaughan is a graduate of the Ontario Police College and the Canadian Police College and gained valuable training with Peel Police Service Hostage & Barricaded Persons Negotiators Course, R.C.M.P. V.I.P. Security Training, U.S. Secret Service Training in V.I.P. Security and sat on various Boards and Panels including Criminal Intelligence Service Canada (CISC) Traditional Organized Crime speaker, Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDEFT Hilton Head, South Carolina) speaker, U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and F.B.I. Roundtable speaker at Virginia State Police/FBI-Norfolk Division/Virginia Beach Police Department, , United States Secret Service Law Enforcement Planning Committee, World University Games panel member.

He is the recipient of the Ontario Medal of Bravery and Police Exemplary Service Medal. Upon ending his Policing career Mr. Vaughan opened a highly successful Private Investigation firm in the G.T.A. as Managing Partner until he joined I.R.M. Mr.

Vaughan is a member of the Council of International Investigators and holds the designation of Certified International Investigator (C.I.I.). He is also a past Board member and Executive Vice President of the Council of Professional Investigator in Ontario.

Lloyd is a published author of two books “Intuitive Security for Women” Burman Books, and “Intuitive Security” Burman Books. Mr. Vaughan was a two-time guest speaker at Life Fest Toronto on topics of personal security and has also spoken to Corporate Business entities on these topics. He made guest appearances on Rogers Cable T.V., Talk Radio AM 640 and TSN “Off The Record”.
